The first rogaine for 2007 is, of course, the upside down rogaine. We have prepared for your night time rogaining pleasure a course in the rolling countryside near Bannister. There will be some open farmland, lovely forest, some small but gorgeous knolls, some bigger hills with spectacular views (of darkness) and all this will be lit by the glorious moonshine! What more could a rogainer want? But wait, there's more! There is a variety of fauna on the course too, including: sheep, kangaroos, blue tongued lizards and just to keep you on your toes, the hills are alive with the sound of wild pigs.

For those who are unsure about whether they can stay awake through the night but still are wanting to give it a go...one of the setters has personally checked that there are well distributed comfortable patches of ground which you are welcome to use for a secret power nap. These comfy places will be marked on the map with a bed and pillow symbol...no sorry only joking, the comfy spots are there, but you'll have to find them yourself.

There are lots of shady trees so you won't get sunburn whilst you are planning your route or waiting to hear the results at the end. For those wishing to indulge beforehand, it is BYO moonshine (stills not provided). The hash house crew will also reward your efforts with a sumptuous breakfast after the event. Whether you have rogained at night time lots of times before, or if this will be your first
