postheadericon Pine Pursuit Rogaine 28 and 29 August 1999

Circle the weekend of 28/29th August on your calendar and drop everything else!

We are convinced that the forthcoming Pine Pursuit Rogaine will go down in rogaining folklore as a legendary event, and we want you to be part of it. Leave the wandoo bushland (and parrot bush) behind you and come down to the deep south where the forest is lush and the creeks are cascading. The hash house will be located at an abandoned mill town among beautiful deciduous trees, and a swimming pool is available for those who want an early-morning swim.

As with all good rogaines, the Pine Pursuit will challenge the top competitors and also offer plenty of rewarding experiences for those who are less competitive. There is no farmland on the course. However, don't despair ... the course includes pine forest (and plenty of it), some spectacular stands of virgin jarrah forest, peppermint trees, and towering blackboys.

The Pine Pursuit event will be held at a location approximately 3 hours south of Perth, and about an hour from Bunbury. Your car won;t event have to venture off the bitumen. See you there!

Setters and vetters: Martin van Bueren, Ray Challen, Rob Gates and Ron Colman.
