Paul McCartney wrote and sang the hit song “Let it be”.

That inspired me to have a rogaine called “May-it-be”. The event is on May 13 so why not?

What a great time of year for rogaining. Look forward to a warm sunny day and a cool evening. 12 hours of fun from 10:00am to 10:00pm. The event will be in the Bannister area down the Albany Highway and is therefore not too far to travel. The area is a mixture of open paddocks and bush patches. Navigation should be easy with lots of strong features. The event will be set so that families and social teams can collect a good number of controls and points.

Camping will be available on Friday and Saturday nights. Come down on Friday night and socialize and then be ready to pick up your maps at 7:00am on Saturday. This is a much better idea than rushing down on Saturday morning. A barbecue will be available on Friday evening if you wish to do some cooking. The famous WARA hash house will be providing an evening meal on Saturday evening and a breakfast on Sunday morning.

May-it-be fun and May-it-be your best ever rogaine. That is the setters wish.
