postheadericon Ye Old Gossy Lemon Surprise 4hr Rogaine - 24 November 2018

Saturday 24 November 2018, 1-5pm

This year a bunch of newbie setters decided to change things up a bit and move the Novelty event out East.

RESULTS NOW UP

Location

The old historical part of Gosnells. This area flanks the river known to the Noongar people as Djarlgarra (the Canning River).

This region, once renowned for its excellent citrus fruit quality, is full of little surprises: orchards, vineyards, horses, new developments and heritage listed sites, all situated within the map. Navigate through a city that has seen its fair share of redevelopments, and explore interesting places that pay homage to the traditional custodians and settlers' history.
A number of heritage-listed sites exemplify how architectural style in the region has changed over the last century.

The hash house (meeting point) is located in the lovely, shaded, family friendly Centennial Pioneer Park.

The area is pretty flat meaning participants can cover some serious ground.
So for those who want to put their fitness trackers through their paces we have made the map area larger and packed it with controls.

We also have a pair of self-proclaimed bonus controls (moving + giggling + < 4 ft tall) that will be set loose in the park after the event starts.
Catch them if you can for some bonus points!

We hope you enjoy exploring this part of the Canning river region as much as we have whilst putting this event together.

We look forward to seeing you all on the day!

Setters: Carola Schwan and Alex Debowski

Vetters: Michael Engler and Keith Stubbs
