postheadericon The Cinderella Winter 9 Hour Rogaine - 10 June 2017

Is 24 hours too long to be out in the bush in winter? Is getting out of the tent early in the morning for your second loop a bit daunting? Concerned of staying up too late and turning into a pumpkin? Well have we got the rogaine for you!

The Winter 9 hour event has all of the good elements, but still lets you spend Sunday as you please. Will there be a camp fire? Yes. Will there be a hash house and food provided? Yes. Will it be close to Perth? Yes. Will it be an adventure and bring smiles to your face? Of course. Will I get sore feet...? .. okay, the answer to some questions will be based on your team's approach.

Within an hour of Perth (half an hour from Kelmscott or Kalumunda) maps will be available from 9am with the main event starting at 11am and finishing at 8pm. Bring your camp chairs and plates to enjoy a hash house feed by the fire and a chin wag into the night. And for once you can do a WARA Winter rogaine knowing that you will not be bashing through the bush at midnight. And a short(er) event without the summer heat.

Event schedule

  • Event date is Saturday 10 June 2017.
  • Event duration is 9 hours.
  • Maps at 9am (no pre-registration), Start at 11am, Finish at 8pm, Results read out by 9pm.

Entry

  • Adult $36, Junior (under 18) $18, Child (under 10) Free
  • Returning members: Add 2017 membership fee of Adult $30, Junior $15, Child Free.
  • New comers: Free membership for first year.
  • Entries close Wednesday midnight 31 May.
  • Between 2 and 5 people per team.
  • No refund for cancellations after close of entries.

  • A3, 1:50,000, 5m contours
  • Non water proof paper - you will need to cover your map

Facilities

  • Hash house food - reduced menu (no soups or stews) - from 5pm until 845pm.
  • Camp fire, toilets, hot water for coffee/tea.
  • No camping area provided.

Services

  • Compass Hire (per person) is $5.00
  • Team changes and additions (you can remove and add team members, as long as you stay within min 2 and max 5 people per team) at rego desk, bring cash for additional entry payments.
