Recent Metro Rogaines have been sedate flat affairs. This one is more like a bush rogaine with a significant number of hills but without the parrot bush. The gun teams will need to tackle a number of 70m elevation changes. But for the social rogainers the area near the hash house is relatively flat and quite picturesque.

Should the weather be warm there are a number of shops on the course which can supply ice-creams and nice cold drinks.

Given the event has been set by a couple of very young rogainers you can expect playgrounds to feature highly in the controls.
