postheadericon Uphill Down Dale USD Rogaine - 23 and 24 February 2002

About 1.5 hrs south east of Perth in an old established farming community the "Uphill Down Dale" Rogaine will be held in open rolling farm paddocks with some interesting hills. We have also included some bush for the die hards, although the regulation parrot bush is in short supply.  This upside down rogaine has terrain and distances suitable for rogainers of all abilities with scope to sharpen their night navigation skills, stretch their summer legs, and practice fence climbing!

A pleasant summer night strolling across the fields with the sheep, cattle and kangaroos is in store for those who are tired of the beach. By moonlight there are some great views to be had and, unless the weather is unseasonal, you won't get soggy feet.

The controls are well placed, and there will be plenty of water drops - near controls. For newcomers to night navigation, there are many circuits that can be planned using farm country only. So don't just think about it, come out and have a try.

Alan, Dave, Dave, Simon, Ian & Son.
