postheadericon Corn Chip Winter 24 Hour - 19-20 June 2021

From the setters

Time to get out the deck chairs, the glass of wine and the corn chips and settle down for a good movie. How about a good documentary from David Attenborough? Then again, who needs a documentary about wildlife when you can have the real thing. At a secret location not too far east of Perth there is a delightful place where you will have to chase the emus away from your campsite. The hills (what there are of them) are teeming with kangaroos, echidnas and wild horses (OK, maybe I exaggerate a bit but we did see one). And hills, well, there aren't many and we purposely didn't put controls on the top of them just to make it easier for you (and ourselves, we didn't want to climb them either).
The CornChip Rogaine is going to challenge your route selection process due to the hash house being close to the edge of the map (the recent prescribed burns that have been smoking out Perth have restricted control placement). The hash site is a farm paddock accessed directly off a bitumen road but the rest of the map is bush. Come and enjoy a gentle stroll, a comforting fire and yes, you can still use that deck chair as you relax and take in the peaceful tranquillity of our West Australian bush.
