The Peel Regional Academy of Sports (www.pras.net.au/) has reached out to WARA to identify athletes eligible for their high-performance scholarship program.
PRAS provides high-performance athletes in the Peel Region with a range of support services delivered close to their home base, helping to reduce travel and associated stress. Scholarship recipients receive support including:
- Strength and conditioning coaching, programs, and gym membership
- Nutritional plans and education
- One-on-one sport-specific coaching
- Psychology support
- Access to talent development workshops and coaching support
- Discounted physiotherapy and other services through program sponsors
Scholarship applications will be open from 16th February to 6th March 2026.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Permanently reside in Western Australia
- Competed at state level or higher in the past 12 months
- Aged 13–21 on 1st April 2026
- Reside in the Peel Region, or attend school, play for a club, or are coached by a local coach within the Peel Region
