WARA is clearing out surplus event equipment and offering it exclusively to recent competitors and volunteers. From printers and field control units to satellite phones and outdoor gear, a range of practical items is now available to the highest eligible bidders. If you’ve been part of a WARA rogaine in the past two years, this is your opportunity to secure quality gear before bidding closes on 20 March 2026.
Also the old FCUs are for sale - it's your chance to secure one of those elusive controls for good - who knows it might've been that hundred pointer that alluded to that one time! Make sure you don't miss out on that opportunity.

Eligibility
Persons who have either competed or volunteered in a WARA rogaine within in the last two years (2024 or 2025) are eligible to purchase the equipment.
People can submit (by email) a bid/offer to buy any or all ofthe lots for sale. Each lot will be sold separately to the highest bidder, noting that there is a reserve price on several items.
The bidding period ends at 6pm on 20 March 2026.

Colour printer – HP K7100
Comments: In working order; approximately 15 years old.

Monochrome printer – Samsung ML 1665
Comments: In working order; approximately 15 years old.
LOT 3
Food mixer - Homemaker
Comments: Brand new and excellent condition; purchased for past National event but never used; approximately 7 years old.
LOT 4
Gas heater – Companion outdoor portable
Comments: Brand new and excellent condition; never been used; approximately 7 years old.

Comments: In use until mid 2025 when licence not renewed(hiring preferred); last serviced by supplier 2023; currently 3 units in sound condition but 1 unit is out of service; approximately 10 years old.

Field control units – WARA bespoke type (qty 200 approx)
Comments: Bespoke controI units in use until system change in 2024; compatible with Pebbles software; good condition and working order; complete with mounting straps, tags and wrist bands; 12 years old.
