Entering an event

Our new entry system is operated by us however is run and maintained by Queensland Rogaining. As a result it may look like you are on the Queensland site - rest assured you are registering for a WARA event.

The table below lists the indicative fees for WARA events. (Revised with new fees for 2024)

Need a partner for the upcoming event

What Notifications will I get after I've entered?

  • If you successfully entered on-line: you would have received a receipt e-mail from PayPal and a confirmation email from the entry system.
  • Event Directions and Information: will be sent as PDF document toi your email, generally on the Monday prior to the event.
  • I havent got my confirmation or Event Directions:
    • check your junk folder.

Refunds, Changes of Team and Late Entries

Refunds:

If you wish to withdraw from the race you can do so up until the close of entries for a full refund. After close of entries WARA does NOT refund entry. This is because we have committed to Food/Maps/Toliets etc after this point. To withdraw you can click the link under the Entries link to make a change to your entry. If a refund is applicable these will be manually processed by the Treasurer in the two weeks after the event.

Change of Team:

If you are looking to add or remove a team member(s) this can be done by clicking the entries link to make a change up until entries close. After entries close we are able to change teams by adding or remvoing memebers or creating new teams on the day of the event. If this involves adding a person the correct cash fee must be brought on the day.

Late Entries: 

WARA has a No Late Entries policy. After the closure of entries we can not have an influx of additional entries as its not possible for us to adjust catering and maps at this point. Entries typically close the Sunday before the event. If you miss this cut off please contact us via This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. There is a possiblity that we will allow entry on the day (like we do with change of team) however this will only be for a few teams and we will inform you if your quota is full due to email requests.
