Near the town of Jarrahwood, this rogaine is on a never before used location. The HH location is nestled amongst stunning pine forests. The pines range from towering beauties easy to walk through - to small saplings completely impassable.
Competitors will be faced with strategic choices in their route planning. Different navigation styles will need to be used for the different parts of the map. Amongst the pines, if you can't walk through them, then you'll need nav by winding tracks and forests boundaries.
Beyond the pines you'll find open native forest with few contours and features. The far third of the map has hills and good featues. Here you'll find the Munda Biddi bike path on the map. Your choice of which part of the map to tackle will make a difference - especially in the dark. The pines may be more difficult in the dark, but are closer to the HH. Or stick to the bush on nightfall, while making sure to get back before the 10pm close. Choices await... and the setters are wondering if anyone will cleen the course?
The setters note the good state of the tracks, the natural beauty and how pleasant it is to walk through the bush. Come and experience a new map and be invigorated by the fresh air!
