4 Hour Novelty – 30th of November 2025
Details
Bring out the kids for this year’s 4 hour novelty event in Nedlands. Controls will be densely packed. Questions may involve fossicking around or climbing. Maybe don’t wear your best clothes as bonus points are likely to involve you getting wet!
The course is possible to clear within 4 hours so keep the pace up – as it may well be won on time!
Compasses will only add extra weight, but your phone will be helpful to upload evidence of your pursuits to the WARA facebook page (another eason to bring the kids).
The setting and vetting teams consist of Joel Tate, Bo Davie and Andre Morkel.

Location
Nedlands.
Event schedule
- Event duration is 4 hours from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday the 30 of November.
- Maps handed out at 12 noon.
- 12:45 pm - pre-event briefing at the start
- 1:00 pm - event start
- 5:00 pm – event finish - any team arriving after this time gets penalised 10 points per minute.
- 5:30 pm - event close - teams arriving after this time are disqualified.
Entry
- Adult $30, Junior (under 18) $15, Child (under 10) Free
- Entries close the Friday midnight 28th of November, late fees of $5 per person apply from Thursday the 27th.
- Between 2 and 5 people per team.
- No refund for cancellations after close of entries.

- Final Instructions will be emailed to you in the week leading up to the event.

Team changes and additions (you can remove and add team members, as long as you stay within min 2 and max 5 people per team) at rego desk, bring cash for additional entry payments.
